Gestalt therapy is a relational, present-focused approach that helps you become more aware of what you’re feeling, thinking, and doing in the moment. We slow things down to notice what’s happening in your body and nervous system—how you might shut down, go into overdrive, or protect yourself—and meet those patterns with curiosity, not judgment.

Relational therapy means the connection between us becomes part of the work. Instead of just talking about your relationships, we pay attention to what shows up in this one. That might mean noticing when something feels off, when it’s hard to speak up, or when you’re unsure how you feel—and exploring that together, gently and honestly.

It’s not about getting it “right”—it’s about creating a space where honesty, repair, and trust can grow as the work unfolds.

What is Gestalt therapy?

My approach

I aim to meet you as a real person—one whole human to another. I bring a steady, body-based presence to therapy, holding space for what’s hard and walking with you through the honest & sometimes messy process of becoming more fully yourself.

I draw from Gestalt therapy, somatic awareness, internal parts work, with a trauma-informed lens—including principles from attachment theory, emotional regulation, and cognitive-behavioural tools.

Together, we tune into what’s present in your body and experience, exploring patterns and possibilities as they show up in real time.

During a session

 In our sessions with your consent, we might:

Tune into your body:

I’ll guide you to notice sensations, tension, or energy in your body to uncover what it might be holding or communicating.

Explore your emotions:

We’ll work with feelings as they arise in the body, gently allowing them to unfold rather than pushing them away or overanalyzing.

Use creativity:

We might incorporate art, movement, visualization, or expressive exercises to help you access deeper layers of experience.

Engage in dialogue:

I may encourage you to dialogue with different parts of yourself—your inner critic, your hopes, or even a difficult memory—to bring clarity and integration..

Explore spirituality and mysticism:

If it resonates, we can explore your spiritual beliefs and practices, using tools of projection or symbolism to deepen your connection to yourself and the world around you.

About me

I’m someone who knows what it’s like to feel disconnected—from your body, your emotions, and even from yourself. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, get honest, and figure out what’s really going on beneath the surface. Not to perform. Not to have it all together. Just to be real, and to start finding your way back to yourself—with support.

  • I offer sessions in Byron Bay or virtually across Australia—whichever feels right for you. Prefer face-to-face or from your favourite quiet corner? We’ll make it work. No pressure, just choices that fit real life

  • Sessions are $130 AUD and privately billed, with no Medicare rebates at this time.

    Payment is made via EFT.

    If cost is a barrier, I offer a sliding scale—just reach out and we can chat.

Canada (Ontario)

  • Therapy from your couch, car, or wherever life lets you pause. Distractions might pop up, and that’s okay—we’ll roll with it. All you need is a quiet-enough space. I offer a welcoming, grounded energy where you can breathe, unravel, and feel supported—wherever you are in Ontario.

  • Sessions are $150 CAD for Ontario-based clients.

    I’m covered by most extended health insurance plans under CRPO registration.
